NCSS Paper in ERIC

Here is an update from Dr. Kimberlee Sharp…
I just wanted to relay to you and to the Issues Centered Learning Community that my paper titled, “A Survey of Appalachian Middle & High School Teacher Perceptions of Controversial Current Events Instruction” is now available in ERIC, number ED507171.   This was the paper on which I presented at the Atlanta conference.   I am continuing with this research over the next year, but focusing on personnel policies regarding the teaching of controversial issues, especially in Appalachian schools.
