I see I have been nominated
I see I have been nominated to serve as ethics co-coordinator. As I was not at the meeting, can someone fill me in on what the position is imagined to be?

Elizabeth, First, let me say that we missed seeing you at the meeting. :) Second, regarding the position you were nominated to: You did such a stellar job with creating the ethics document that we felt that it would be odd to place anyone else in that position. Your job would be to clarify (if necessary) anything in the document that you drafted. It will be posted (or maybe already has been?) for the Research Community to vote/approve. Rob Schumer was also volunteered as a co-chair because of his interest and work with minors doing research; he was interested in creating written standards specific to this group. Hope this clarifies. Melissa

Thank you. I truly missed seeing all of you at the meeting as well. I would be glad to discuss the draft document with anyone who has questions, recommedations or concerns.
